Urgent, Urgent, Emergency!

There is no big emergency but only something that you are going to need if you are coming rock climbing with the guys.

Guys, we are going rock-climbing at Northcoast Gymnastics this Wednesday, February 13.  We will be leaving church at 6:30 p.m., bring $13 for climbing and a snack later. 

Girls, we are going to Tickled Paint Studio to paint pottery this Wednesday, February 13.  Please meet at 7:00 p.m. at Tickled Paint Studio (3068 Front St.), and bring $20.00 (pieces range in prices but to be safe bring $20.00).

Also, some people have jokingly said that this is a sexist event...this is so not so. We as youth leaders discussed wanting to get to know our students more and so we decided to do a series of small groups and dividing those groups into smaller groups. This one is the guys/girls split and there will be others small group nights later on in the year.

For this one we also decided that the female leaders would pick the girls night out and the guy leaders would pick out the guys night out. Ria and other leaders would love to go climbing and I am sure it will happen at some point. As you know Stephanie is due very shortly so rock-climbing is out. 

For Wednesday, February 27th beginning at 7:00 pm we will be sharing our family meal together at Steve and Sherry Vanden Bos home. If you need directions call them at 354-1480. We will be having our own "Year of the Snake" party. International students are asked to prepare one of their favorite dishes for us to try. To coordinate please contact Sherry, Abby, or John.
